Jeff's Ultimatum

Today i thought i would show how much fun Jeff has by showing me up. We recently did a 4.2 mile obstacle course which i kicked Jeff's ass in (notice I was always providing positive motivation from the rear like a real LEADER). I am unable to give a direct link to the photos but here are some simple directions and you can view the pictures:

1. Click on Photos link in center

2. Click on here for the 2008 photos

3. Click on team folder 1-99

4. Finally click on team 8 (that's us) and view all photos.

If you cannot follow these directions you are either my parents or friends Amy and Ron which is understandable because I know who you voted for and that says it all...

Anyway, i thought i would share my favorite two news articles that i believe sum up why i vote the way i do, but with that being said below is a funny joke that i like to refer people to as well.

To be sure, these "tax cuts" contain some sleight of hand. More than $400 billion of the money over the next 10 years would take the form of refundable tax credits paid in cash to people who already pay no federal income tax. It would be more accurate to refer to these cash outlays as cuts in payroll tax or -- even more accurately -- as transfer payments. Regardless of what the credits are called, though, they would put more money in the pockets of some American families. That sounds great in these tough economic times. Who can be against a boost to spending power and consumption?

Enough talk about people who all make more money than we do and after tonight (probably more like another 2 months to account for all votes) we will know who won the election and that will be that for another 4 years.

On a lighter note i thought i would share a few photos from my recent trip to Asia and play a game called: Guess the American...

Till the next post

Steve, I'm impressed. Your blog is actually very comical! I laughed out loud at the "guess the American." Nice!
